Nora Roitberg, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1956 and studied sculpture and art at the Academia de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires. In 1986 she moved to Milan, Italy, to continue her art studies, where she obtained a Master’s degree at Accademia di Brera in 1990. In 2008 she studied photography and videomaking at Teatro Alla Scala.
Internationally known for her work as photographer and video-maker, she has recently worked in collaboration with Teatro Alla Scala and Auditorium di Milano.
Since 2008 Nora Roitberg started a photography and video project about children all around the world, representing their reality in Italy, Israel, the United States and several South American countries, in order to portrait their expressions and their relationship to society. Nora Roitberg’s work has often been exhibited in contemporary art museums and galleries around the world.
She also earned several awards.
